ENGAGE MALDEN

Engage Malden was a co-sponsor of the Eid Festival hosted at the Bruce C. Bolling Building in Roxbury on June 8, 2025. The event had community resource tables, arts activities, local vendors, and a cultural performance showcase highlighting the diversity of our Muslim community.

Engage Malden co-hosted an interfaith fundraising Iftar to raise awareness about the ongoing genocide in Gaza. Speakers included Rev. Carlos Aoun, Rabbi Leora Abelson, and a number of Engage Malden volunteers. The event raised $4,866.00 in humanitarian relief for Gaza.

Hosted by Engage Malden to introduce the organization to the community, discuss amplifying the voice of the Muslim community, and gather community feedback to drive meaningful change. The event welcomed local leaders Sheikh Mohammad Nabil Islam – Imam of AMC Everett, Yusufi Vali – Former Deputy Chief of Staff for the Mayor of Boston, Maya Jamaleddine - Melrose City Council, and ⁠Dr. Mohannad Mosallam – Engage Malden.
